About
What Makes It Sacred?
Where we travel ...
To sacred destinations. These are often remote, very rural locales with profound histories of spiritual learning. Often in these places, indigenous communities have had to survive harsh conditions and even war. BlackRiver Sacred Adventures provides the security and safety you need so that you can access and be a part of the powerful learning and transformation that these sacred places have to offer.
Who you travel with ...
Your guides are skilled at facilitating inner and outer journeys and ensuring your physical and emotional safety, security, and peace of mind. Our main guide is a yogi, mystic, shaman and spirit guide who is also an executive protection specialist and wilderness first responder. In all of our adventures, our top priority is your well-being and privacy. The deepest growth comes from challenge—we offer you the utmost protection and support as you push your own limits to discover the sacred.
How we travel ...
We travel as a community, experience the unexpected, and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges. It’s all about flow. Having a meaningful sacred experience takes careful preparation and planning—but it also takes being open to the reciprocal relationship we have with each other and our environment and surroundings. We keep the size of our groups to no more than 10, traveling in minivans and SUVs. We plan a solid itinerary but always expect the unexpected. We immerse ourselves in and are often humbled by the power of the natural world.
Above all, what makes Blackriver adventures sacred is ...
Intention ...
The intention is to have a mind-body-spirit experience and to connect with Spirit—in the deepest part of yourself and in the natural world. To explore. To test, come to understand, and in some cases transcend your limitations.
